Originally built in 1962, DevNW acquired Sycamore Apartments in 2006. Many unit interiors are original and in beautiful condition, with wood-beamed ceilings and original appliances still in good working order. This 100% smoke free property is home to six adults with developmental disabilities who live and work independently in Corvallis. Sycamore Apartments are beautifully landscaped and residents maintain a large, raised-bed garden that produces enough vegetables annually to feed e current residents and donate to other Corvallis group homes and the local food bank. Services for residents are provided by Benco, a private non-profit organization that provides residential, vocational, and employment services to residents of Benton County who have developmental disabilities.
